PADI Advanced Open Water Course

This course consists of two required and three optional dives and can be done in 2-3 days. You can try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor.

Upon successful completion, this carnet plus logbook proof of additional diving experiences is sometimes asked for when you visit more challenging dive locations.

The required dives are Deep and Underwater Navigation. During the Deep dive, you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper water.

The Underwater Navigation dive helps you learn compass navigation skills and helps you navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.

The other three dives can be chosen with your instructor based on local conditions from your Advanced Open Water Diver course book, which you will need to purchase before you begin your course. We can normally sell you one for $50.00.
