Caño Divers operates under the banner of Pirate Cove, a PADI International Resort Member (PIRA 20297) Pirate Cove Hotel.
We leave each day at 7:00 a. m. for Cano Island, the most beautiful dive destination on the Pacific coast of Costa Rica. This wonderful place is often compared to Coco Island, which Jacque Cousteau said was one of the world's top dive sites.
If you're looking for a place to spend the night you can stay at our hotel, Pirate Cove. Set among a tropical paradise, you'll find everything you need.
Our diving groups are small and always accompanied by PADI divemasters, assistant instructors or instructors. Although we are known for the quality of our service we are equally proud of our diving safety record, with not a single serious problem in our five year existence. That may explain why most of the hotels in Drake Bay with no dive operations of their own choose Caño Divers. We also give courses from Open Water through Assistant Instructor, a number of specialty courses.
Even though Cano Divers is based at Pirate Cove and is a part of our hotel, we gladly accept divers staying in other hotels in Drake Bay. Pick up is at Playa Colorada in Agujitas at 7:15 a.m. They will need to reserve and prepay in advance since Cano Divers is often fully booked in the high season. Customers staying at Pirate Cove don’t need to pay in advance but we strongly suggest they book in advance in order to avoid disappointment.
